Suitability Analysis for Campsite
A suitable camping area is required for 50 students who will camp this summer. In this context, it is necessary to choose a suitable camping area under certain conditions. Altitude and slope values, land cover, distance to springs, trail points, river and the hospital are among the criteria. In this context, the suitability analysis was created using values of 0 and 1. Thus, the best camping area was decided.
CONTOUR ANALYSIS
1250 meters was accepted as the limit for the camping area. Under this condition, suitable areas for camping are seen as the areas in the south and east of the area.
SLOPE ANALYSIS
10 degree was accepted as the limit for the camping area. Under this condition, suitable areas for camping are seen as the pink areas.
LAND COVER ANALYSIS
Open water, wetlands, pastures and developed areas are not considered suitable for camping areas. Under this condition, suitable areas for camping are seen as the pink areas.

PM10 AIR QUALITY ANALYSIS
According to the researched PM10 values, areas with annual values below 15 µg/m3 are the areas with the best air quality. Therefore, the value 15 µg/m3 was accepted as the limit value. Under this condition, suitable areas for camping are seen as the pink areas.
SPRINGS ANALYSIS
The distance of the camping areas to the springs was accepted as 2000 meters at most. Under this condition, suitable areas for camping are seen as the pink areas.
TRAIL POINTS ANALYSIS
The distance of the camping areas to the trail points was accepted as 2000 meters at most. Under this condition, suitable areas for camping are seen as the pink areas.
RIVERS ANALYSIS
The distance of the camping areas to the rivers was accepted as 2000 meters at most. Under this condition, suitable areas for camping are seen as the pink areas.
HOSPITAL ANALYSIS
The distance of the camping areas to the hospitals was accepted as 20 kilometers at most. Under this condition, suitable areas for camping are seen as the pink areas.
SUITIBILITY CAMPING
With the Suitability map, the clipped layers within the area boundaries were shown together. The suitable area for the camping area is the 2 large areas colored yellow in the north-east of the region, and the small areas in the south of these areas. The assets around it were shown via zoom on the second map.

CAMPING AREA OPTIONS
As a result of the suitability analysis made by taking into account the analysis and the determined conditions, 2 areas where the best camping was determined were determined. The one in the western region is 500x500 m², the one in the eastern region is 1000x1000 m². However, the best area among the two options is the area located in the eastern region with an area of 1000x1000 m². This is also because it is closer to springs, rivers, and roads than the other area. Therefore, the best area for camping was decided as option two.
